DC has a larger population than the entire state of Wyoming and zero rep in congress

Exactly. It really lays bare how warped representation is. More people than an entire state, paying federal taxes, serving in the military, and still no real voice in Congress. That’s not democracy, it’s a loophole we’ve just learned to live with.

Previous film is in the Epstein files

That line lands a little too close to home. When that’s the context people immediately think of, the “new film” tagline just sounds unintentionally dark. Not exactly the fresh start they probably hoped for.

Hard to argue with that. When fear gets used as a talking point instead of actually fixing real problems, people end up less safe, not more. We deserve policies that calm communities, not inflame them

My understanding is that they didn't like how he mentioned that the Biden economy was very good, as well as Will's observation that social environments explain the political situation more than material ones, especially with the current American social media environment.

There is a good chance that the leadership is stuck in the idea of trying to convince ICE Agents themselves rather than the general public.

Think Vietnam protests vs MLK or Gandhi who understood they needed to change the public opinion, not the government's.

Exactly. You don’t win these moments by trying to persuade the machinery itself. Real change has always come from shifting public opinion until the system has no choice but to respond. That lesson feels painfully forgotten right now

Sounds like their grand jury refusing to indict count is about to go up.

Sadly, that wouldn’t surprise me at all. We keep seeing accountability dodged while people standing up for others get punished instead. The pattern is getting way too familiar

Exactly this. Talking about “enemies lists” and “the enemy within” isn’t leadership, it’s a red flag. Power fueled by grievance and revenge should scare anyone who cares about democracy
January 30, 2026 at 2:57 AM
That really means a lot. None of this should be happening, but knowing people actually see it and care makes the work feel less heavy. We just look out for each other where we can 💚
