After a very difficult week, I'm honestly stunned...I won first place in the 2024 Unpublished Manuscript contest in the Mystery/Thriller category!!

Ori has discovered that her favorite yellow ball fits down the air vent in the bathroom (it's closed, so luckily it doesn't just disappear into the depths of the house).
While distressing to have the ball trapped in the vent, it's apparently delightful to put it there.

It's a special kind of hilarious watching the 1 yr old kitten stare at my 4 mo kitten like he's completely lost his mind fighting the shower curtain when she's the one who taught him that.

That last blurry photo weirdly reminded me that I should update my website's About section b/c it still talks about Editor Cat (Taz, pict below), who passed 3 years ago this month from cancer.
I could add a section about Ori and Ziggy. I could talk about anything else. But somehow, I'm not ready.
