Went on a fiber arts cruise on the Erie Canal today. It got cut short due to the thunderstorms that were coming through this afternoon, but it was still a great time on the Colonial Belle! 🙂🏞️🐦⬛🧶🦆🛳️🌦️

Weather like this, a slow moving thunderstorm in the spring or summer, always reminds me of the children's book Thunder Cake by Patricia Polacco, one of my mom's favorite children's book authors. After she passed I inherited her copy, it has her name written in her hand on the inside cover. A gift 📙

We have the cutest & sweetest greeter at the museum. Big Red is the smallest & youngest employee on staff. His official capacity is Mouser, but I think his job extends to greeter & emotional support kitty. Certainly he helps keep morale high! @eastmanmuseum.bsky.social #museumworker #catsofbluesky

All I have to do is bind off this cuff, but I just don't have the brainpower necessary at this time of night. Doing the kitchener stitch bind off on one needle is tricky business during the day. Best not to attempt it now. Hopefully I will finish this sweater tomorrow. #birchpullover #knitsky
