Whilst not food, after a very busy and shocking turn of events these past few days, I found the time to relax at a coffee shop and the drink was perfect!
It was a shame though that my preferred establishment to drink coffee from was not open.

Today I went to get crepes with someone who’s also in the public eye and had highly recommended this local stand. The filings were high quality and overall this was certainly a delicious treat!

Happy Halloween! To celebrate I had some Halloween themed cookies! There seemed to be a lot of care and thought that went into these and they were delicious. This cookie in particular certainly has an odd but charming design.

Today I had kuri gohan! The chestnuts were perfect for autumn season, giving a sweet, nutty and rich flavour to dish.

After an exhausting day I decided to eat a slice of a St. Honoré cake! The different creams were made very well with the bitter taste of chocolate helping balance the sweetness of the overall dessert and cake itself wasn’t dry at all making the treat delicious.

Sweet, fluffy and moist, this strawberry shortcake is as a delight to have at Miel et Crêpes! The fruit was ripe and fresh and the cream filling was the perfect texture.

Today I decided to have caramel flan! The smooth, creamy texture was perfect and the bittersweet taste of the caramel sauce is perfect for those who enjoy desserts a little less sweet.

Today I tried some delicious freshly steamed momiji manju! The leaf designs were expertly done and the custard filling was made to a high quality. I highly recommend for those who enjoy steamed treats on the sweeter side.

On this rainy evening I decided to try some ramen in a restaurant at Ogikubo and it was absolutely delicious! The noodles were perfect and the flavour was deep and rich.

Yesterday I found a calm and welcoming establishment that served such incredible coffee that I found myself returning to try the curry as well. Much like the drink, it was absolutely delicious.

With a wonderfully crispy exterior, this evening I decided to have some kare pan. It was a perfectly warm on the inside and the curry itself was delicious!

During this hot summer day I spent time in the museum and tried mizu shingen mochi! This raindrop cake was both fun in appearance and extremely refreshing. The taste is very mild and has a gelatinous texture but worked perfectly with the roasted soybean powder and sweet syrup.

Refreshing and cool, today I had another summer delight: hiyashi chuka. The noodles were extremely free and the different flavours were balanced incredibly well!

On a hot day, hiyayakko is a perfect cold and light dish to feel refreshed by. The tofu was perfect and smooth, paired with toppings to enhance and add flavour!

This wonderfully sweet sticky mango rice was the perfect treat to eat this summer. The mango was perfectly ripe and the rice prepared well. I highly recommend this delightful food for anyone who enjoys fruit desserts!

Perfect for the summer, this afternoon I had some yakisoba! The pork belly was rich and tender with the overall dish taste being a good mix between sweet, savoury and slightly tangy.

Suggested by one of my fans, today I tired a gamja hotdog at a local stall! Crispy with on the outside with small pieces of potato embedded, it has both a sweet and savoury taste that pairs well together!

I was surprised today by a mystery gift in the form of another cake! This one, unlike yesterday’s was a coffee cake with vanilla cream and caramel drizzled on top. The baker must be quite the barista as the coffee taste is delicious! Thank you for all the birthday wishes!

Today I tried a garash cake! It’s moist, not too sweet and has this intense dark chocolate and nutty flavour. This rich cake is perfect for anyone who loves chocolate.
