似たような理由で普段からポカリとアクエリアスとか味付きのいろはす飲んでる人見るとスゲーと思っちゃう。何も無い時にああいうの飲むと逆に喉乾く気がする…

I honestly think Japan’s se is the best in the world, from the selection to the food quality lol
Seriously, everything there tastes good. Famima is well-known too, but in Japan, SE definitely feels way more popular hahaha

In some restaurants, you may even be refused entry if you’re wearing perfume, so be careful.
Normally, your scent is part of your individuality, and that’s totally fine. But don’t forget that Japan is, unfortunately, a country that often doesn’t tolerate individuality 🫥….

Apply a strong type of deodorant to your underarms, feet, everywhere. As you might have already noticed, 95% of Japan is scentless. Sweat, body odor, perfume, and any other kind of smell are not welcome here. If you smell (whether it’s bad odor or perfume), people will avoid you. Seriously.

cuz Japanese people, for the most part, don’t have even a fraction of that curiosity toward other countries. It honestly makes me feel really awful....

I’ve lived in this country my whole life, but I’ve never once felt that Japan was a tolerant place toward foreigners... Every time I see foreigners showing genuine interest and curiosity toward Japan, I feel complicated emotions.

Many don’t even understand the history of the countries Japan once colonized or fought against in past wars. For most, SEA just means the countries where technical trainees come from "poor, hot, and humid places." That’s about as far as their perception goes.
