Well fellas, guess the days when kids were told to touch grass and adults dominated the internet are gone. Now platforms roll out age verification everywhere because apparently the internet is the babysitter. Might spread to other platforms too, complain now before it's the norm

“Don’t worry, the facial scan stays client-side”, as if that’s supposed to make me grateful. Wild how the bar dropped so low that not exporting my biometric data is now a selling point. Also… why am I age-verifying just to chat? I’m not applying for a mortgage, I’m sending memes

Funny how delete and alternatives of Discord spike right after age verification news. The platform probably won’t die, but it does feel less community driven than before. If protecting kids is the goal, maybe invest more in real human support instead of AI to boost your stock

So let me get this straight: Discord rolls out global age verification → the same app that had government ID data exposed not long ago (www.bbc.com/news/article...) now says “don’t worry, we delete IDs after 24h”? Sure… and today is April 1st, right?

So let me get this straight: Discord rolls out global age verification → the same app that had government ID data exposed not long ago (www.bbc.com/news/article...) now says “don’t worry, we delete IDs after 24h”? Sure… and today is April 1st, right?

Turns out some Epstein PDFs weren’t really “redacted” they just left the raw encoded attachments sitting there like a spare key under the mat.
Internet folks rebuilt the docs anyway .

Turns out some Epstein PDFs weren’t really “redacted” they just left the raw encoded attachments sitting there like a spare key under the mat.
Internet folks rebuilt the docs anyway .
