It's maybe 🌶️🌶️ to me. It had more sexy suspense than true sexiness, IMO. It was still a decent read, but I think some wax poetic about it more than it truly deserves.

Not the same vein, but Katee Roberts is prolific, spicy and a good writer. Most libraries have a bunch and Kindle Unlimited has a lot.
The Beasts of the Briar series is also pretty good.

I really enjoyed SJM's Crescent City books. Some people aren't fans, but I almost liked them better than ACOTAR. Is she a spicy fan or tamer?

We started doing this too about 3 weeks ago, and it's a total game changer. Mornings, especially weekday mornings, tend to suck a bit. Now they suck a little less. Yay, technology!
