Wednesday, the sleek black rabbit queen, eats some morning veggies with Oreo, one of her litter of 18-day-old kits (named Oreo because of its black and white coloring) on a green and gray carpet. Immediately after this photo was taken, Oreo abandoned her veg-eating lesson and tried to crawl under mom for some milk, only to be completely rejected. Oh, the bun-manity!

This guy has been going through it. Castration surgery two weeks ago, nails clipped today, and he's spending all his time in isolation so that he can't get frisky with his bun-wife until all his hormones settle and his sperm stop being viable. #Mood #rabbit🐰🐇

It's been two weeks since we made the impulsive decision to bring this princess into our hearts and home. She is friendly and adventurous, and she is hugely destructive. Much more so than our male rabbit has ever been. We love you, Wednesday! (And you're driving us crazy.) #rabbits 🐇🐰

So we did something crazy last night and brought this sweet girl, Wednesday, home from the store. They had her mislabeled as a mini (our other rabbit, Henry, is a mini). Any guesses what her actual breed might be? She's 8 months old. She'd gone un-adopted for five months because of her size.

My mother loved Thomas Kinkade, and my father bought her three of his prints over several years (when he was very popular). When she died, each of us kids got one. I think of her each time I look at it. I understand the haters, but I have this one - Mountain Chapel - hanging in my bedroom.
