i always just assumed it was some combination of the subconscious influence of his being the handwriting i saw most often in childhood - shopping lists on the fridge etc - and possibly a similar/learned relationship btwn motor function/thought patterns. it's so odd!

my handwriting - very bad and cramped - is nearly identical to my dad's & it's always intrigued me!
