Don’t lose sight of the fact all major media outlets are owned by the billionaires. A lot of these reporters are told not to engage or push by management. Some of this lack of follow up may be a choice, but a lot is also a directive.

They treat him differently because:
1 - Trump is a crass bully, and
2 - Reporters are pussies and are afraid of being yelled at

Or if there were numerous photos and video of his connection to a pedophile sex trafficker, while he sheltered another convicted pedophile sex trafficker… after he ripped down part of the white house and is murdering fisherman to start a war for oil… etc etc…
