The main advantage here would be Play Anywhere. Without it, I don't know why PC gamers wouldn't just keep making most of their purchases on Steam.

They should make it an option in the menu to download higher quality FMVs.
Initial download will be smaller and players that want the quality have to ability to make it happen.

I feel the way about these films some others feel about superhero films.
