A developer might get sad if they have to do more than the absolute minimum.

I was interested in that narrative for a while because I know so many people who think of themselves as good allies (generic), but stopped masking for whatever reason. Now I lean into protecting myself, because apparently nobody else (mostly) will.

I wear a mask simply because I'm following the data on repeat infections and trying to limit those. I've also known too many people with long or medium covid to want to fuck around. Even if I knew I was going to recover fully why would i volunteer to lose months to this illness?

Columbus is trying to “revive downtown” and what it comes down to is a need for local housing and a need for reasons to be there. “Going to the office” is not a great reason because it’s clearly not working, but it would be nice if I could get food there after 5 on the way to a show? Just sayin.
