First day in Yellowstone and we had not one, but two bull bison just randomly cross the road right in front of us about an hour apart from each other. These bulls go where they want, when they want.

We were in Sumpter, OR last Fall and the deer and wild turkeys were all over the place. She wasn't quite sure what to make of these big birds hanging around our rental.

Just a little bit of Fall color trying to break through. We probably need a couple more weeks before we start to see some good colors. In the meantime, it's a bluesky day.

One year ago yesterday I was out walking the dog as I do every morning and I found these matsutake mushrooms. These are my fave mushrooms!
