How Government Intervention Grows Sport and Recreation. governments need to provide more money into safe sports and create programs to help fund these sports and facilities and keep up with safety. They need to bring communities together to help each other volunteer and invite low income families.

There’s are many positive and negative factors to sports media. yes media helps us keep informed about all the troubles teams or players have but it also can lead to lies like being over dramatic. there are more negatives towards women not getting shown in the media as often as men.

I Find it ridiculous that athletes feel like they need to hide injuries in order to still play. if it’s really serious and can be career ending then you need to find ways on how to make it better not play just one last time and live with an injury for the rest of your life.

Back in 2013 Robert Griffin was playing in the NFL playoffs with a knee Injury. His coach kept him in the game even though he KNEW Robert had a really bad knee injury and him playing caused it to tear more.

Billie Jean King was a huge factor when it came to challenging gender norms in sports. She fought really hard and funded many things just so women's passion for sports would be recognized as well. She created many co-ed teams too.

She began playing at the age of 5. Her brother coached her until she was 12. Family is a big factor with being able to succeed. With her dads passion & also being cousins with Kia Nurse whose a 2 time Olympian. Seeing others succeed pushes people to their fullest & now she's a role model to kids.

My end goal is to become an occupational therapist. The job itself does include a lot of physical activity. I'm wanting to work with kids. I'll be helping them engage with physical activity and completing everyday tasks. Outside of work I want an at home gym and make time for walks every day.

I would define a sport as a physical activity with some sort of competition that aligns with a set of rules. For example, esports isn't a sport. Sports like basketball, volleyball, etc, may share some of the same qualities in esports but there's no physical activity which shows us it's only a game.
