I went to FL to visit family. On Sunday, my brother & I went to a sports bar to watch football. There were 40 large-screen TVs, many with the Dolphins on, & other NFL games on others. I counted 10 that had Fox News on with CC turned on. Sunday NFL, & they still have ~25% of the TVs tuned to Fox.

I think it’s even more disconnected than that. He owns land that he leases to soybean farmers. The bailout allows the farmers to keep paying him rent. If he was an actual investor, you’d expect him to know something about the business.

This solves the problem for this year, but what happens again next year when China continues to buy soybeans from Brazil? That business has likely been lost forever. Farmers can cut their losses by planting less next year, but that revenue is gone.

Trump making it clear that he has no respect for the Supreme Court or the rule of law so they better rule in his favor or he’m just call his illegal tariffs something else.
