I'm not sure where I'll shoot them, but part of me regrets not having an empty camera on hand to load a rolls and take the owners photo. Maybe one of the rolls will wait in my freezer until I can take it back to Taiwan with me, and maybe I'll find this shop and shoot a photo of the owner.

So that's how I ended up with what felt like the last two rolls of Superia 400 in Taipei, which I carried back to the US, making sure they didn't get X-rayed at the airport. They now sit in my fridge.

The last few rolls of Superia left had expired last November. He was not getting any more. Still unsure if the rolls were somewhat valuable to him or if he was rationing them out(they were expensive but nowhere near what you could get for them in the US), I asked him if I could buy both rolls.

He's run this shop for a long time, and old empty boxes of films long gone were all over the place. He'd seen the transition from film to digital, from dedicated cameras to phones, and now was lamenting that Fuji couldn't get him enough x100vi's to keep up with demand.

So I decided I'd be happy to find some rolls of Fuji Superia 400. No luck, until on my last night I walked into a camera store just before closing and saw two rolls. The owner said that people tended to buy whatever was cheap, and that was Kodak Colorplus/Gold and Fujicolor 200/400.
