Been on a red-purple frequency this week. Not a color palette I reach for often but I've really enjoyed it. Naples Yellow Reddish, Perylene Red, Diox Purple, Chromatic Black, Unbleached Titanium. Both on gessoed watercolor paper.

Preview of this month's patreon exclusive, first time doing a self-portrait in oil and I loved it, although it was much more time consuming than digital (obv). Still, there is a subtlety with oil paints that is much harder to achieve digitally, for me at least. Every medium has a tradeoff.
