What better day to start reading the biography of Marsha P. Johnson than on the anniversary of the Stonewall Riot on June 28, 1969.
It should be noted that the National Parks official Stonewall monument webpage has scrubbed the T from LGBT.

The message I found when I was trying to figure out why I couldn’t go on line. That was Friday. Today, Monday, Verizon was finally able to come out.
It turns out my internet connection was disrupted by ants who climbed allllllll the way to the top of the pole to nestle into my connection space. 😐

I never got to study any history except American history in school So I found this to be chock full of new information like a lot of Vikings were living in England. Lots of footnotes (I love good footnotes). Not very long, but a lot to chew on if you get my drift. And fun 😁.

Station Eleven is one of my favorite books (the book, not the extremely well acted piece of mansplaining that is the totally altered tv show). I was wary about reading another book written by Emily St. John Mandel. This book, while different, is also wonderful. A delight to read.
