#RIP: Diane Ladd's death breaks my heart. In David Lynch's movie, Wild at Heart, Ladd was damn frightening as Lula Fortune's mother, Marietta. A storied actress of stage, film and screen, your spirit lives in the hearts you touched on your earthly journey. Rest in peace.

A Spider’s Web: Our two Phidippus Regius Regal jumpers are doing fine. Lula has built a hammock, and I think she’s pre-molt. They both seem healthy. We fed them for the first time. Flightless fruit flies are definitely a task. I think we’ll get better as the girls get larger. They are i6 females.
