Never underestimate the ability of an economics "reporter" to look at people who have missed two meals and claim everything will be fine, no one has ever rioted after missing the third.

We have to keep these things separate to have freedom, and that comes from local people having direct control over our lives.

Otherwise, we bend the knee to the whims of two national parties from which we must beg blessing, and at the end of the day they are owned by billionaires and pedophiles.

What someone in a city race thinks about the federal tax code does not matter in the slightest.
It very much matters what they think about potholes, pavement, police, and public transit.

City races are about highly specific community issues. We don't need to dilute those very important conversations with national policy points.

There should *never* be a letter designating zoological affiliation next to any city level race. County, state, and federal folks should mind their business and keep their endorsements to themselves.

Larger frame means more metal which means a bit more scrap value.
Or it’s a statistical blip.
But also we can’t discount Big Bird needing extra cash in the wake of PBS being defunded.

Which makes it insane to give the keys to someone who promises to crash the car.

It makes it doubly insane when we realize we actually need to use the street but can't because there's a 47 car pileup caused from the guy we gave the keys to in the first place.
