Went on my first baby run yesterday after two surgeries to deal with a torn meniscus last year. It was sooooooooooooo nice to be back out there! I even caught a glimpse of my very favorite heron - the little blue heron. 🐦

For lab meeting this week we did a behind the scenes tour at the Missouri Botanical Garden. It was so great to be back in the library and herbarium!

Started the day by submitting final grades for my first year seminar “Food and the Environment” at Saint Louis University. First time through this course for me - a very enjoyable learning experience with a tremendous group of patient and engaged SLU students. Happy holidays everyone 💙
