2-3 yards before I step on 81’s leg, roll my ankle and/or twist my knee and go down in a heap.

I wouldn’t say he quits, but more or less just runs out of gas every 4-6 games as if that’s all his conditioning allows. Maybe the key for him is being a scratch every 5th or 6th game although that gives Miro an opportunity to take the spot permanently.

I’d like to know Mika’s thought process on the first goal with the blind backhand pass to Forsling.

The only thing I remember from watching on TV was seeing him awkwardly try to block a shot near the blue line and then he left the ice. He came out in almost a semi-squatting position with his hands and stick in front of his leg.

Even though I’m pretty sure I’ve seen all of them answer goals almost immediately while watching games, the only other teams that are coming to mind as the 3rd team are the Canes, Kings, or Stars.

Was he considering a poke check? Just watching his right arm, it looks like he was thinking about it, decided against it and ended up not being square to Dorofeyev.

From behind the net it definitely looked like it went through the net.

Goalies basically get treated like a kicker/punter. They’re a specialist that has one job to do when called upon. Forwards get treated like QB’s because they put up numbers.

The DT for sure. Always have that excuse of “he’s just faster” with Lamar. With Henry he can outrun you but prefers to turn one DB into roadkill for kicks and giggles before outrunning the rest.

Distance skated probably has more meaning to the training and conditioning staff for postgame recovery for players than it does to anyone else.

Another case where who he was paired with played into his success. He and Pesce were a balanced pairing with Pesce being more of the defensive guy allowing Skjei to jump into the attack.

What’s Faulk doing with his stick in the net and back to the puck? I get Binnington is lost here but Faulk isn’t doing him any favors being in his lap with his back to the puck.
