With how thick the armour. minor changes would be completely on the inside only and would be obscured by the layers of metal. even modern combatants armour has little difference outside of size. the one on the left is a medic but their the same base with only the patch and a few colour difference

Akuma no riddle a story about a class full of assassins that are to kill the one class members for a wish, excellent fighting series I also recommend the manga as it a bit different and the end is more clear
