Today marks 10 years I’ve been a journalist. Back then, I was fresh out of college interning at ABC News’ “Nightline” program. So grateful not only for the opportunities I’ve had these past ten years but for all the amazing people I’ve considered both my colleagues and friends.

THE FANTASTIC FOUR- FIRST STEPS (2025): A solid return to form for the MCU and Marvel’s classic team. Matt Shakman delivers the most visually striking MCU film in ages with a pulpy, colorful tone Jack Kirby would be proud of. Not to mention the cast is great. 4/5
July 27, 2025 at 5:12 PM
EDDINGTON (2025): A haunting social commentary. Ari Aster continues to deliver intense, edge of your seat thrills but it is uneven and suffers from tonal inconsistencies. I still liked it but it has its flaws that keep it from reaching Aster’s best works. 3.5/5

Siri, show me hell
July 11, 2025 at 1:03 AM
SUPERMAN (2025): A triumphant return to form for the Man of Steel. David Corenswet is an amazing Superman and James Gunn’s love for the source of material is on full display with an earnest story, likable characters and exciting action. I dug the hell out of it. 4/5

Seated to see my favorite superhero return on the biggest IMAX screen in the country (Lincoln Square)

Getting in the mood at work before I see Superman shortly
July 10, 2025 at 9:05 PM
JURASSIC WORLD REBIRTH (2025): An uneven installment. While the plot is more unique compared to the last few films and the special effects are amazing, it also suffers from a bloated runtime and forgettable characters. Average at best. 2.5/5

F1 (2025): A fun, first-rate summer blockbuster. Director Joseph Kosinski brings his action chops from Top Gun Maverick to deliver a thrilling racing movie bolstered with a likable cast. See it in IMAX if you can. 4/5
