This is one of the most shameful things I've seen in my life. Zelensky and the Ukrainian people are fighting for their lives, and MAGA is all up in its feelings because no one is allowed to disrespect Trump. He can be grotesque, but everyone else has to genuflect. Pathetic.

I am ashamed of the display at the White House today. I can’t apologize on behalf of Vance and Trump, but I can say that we don’t all agree. Vance is a condescending charlatan who can’t muster enough empathy to treat his beleaguered guest with some basic respect. He’s the showman, not Zelensky.

Between the flooding in Asheville and the wildfires in Los Angeles, I’m struggling to figure out how as a Christian to respond to the effects of climate change. There are small changes I’m going to make this year- composting, eco toilet paper. But right now it feels like painting in the wind.
