An entire city closes their public schools and no one is talking about one of the schools being terrorized by ICE as a possible reason? Hope the national media actually gets on this.

I heard today Minneapolis is closing their public schools for a few days while ICE is in the area. Nobody seems to be talking about the incident at the school as a reason but they immediately point to the shooting.

Knowing about the situation at the school, I can’t help but wonder why there was no national media coverage of this in between coverage of the aftermath of the shooting. Atleast nothing I’ve seen yet.

you can also hear an adult, probably a teacher, telling a group of students yelling at the agents “not to antagonize them. They literally killed a woman today.”

this must have been occurring at around the same time as the shooting because the post said that agents appeared to have left the school in a hurry to respond to shooting aftermath.

Meanwhile, I saw a video last night on an X post, also in Minneapolis, of students outside of a high school during an ICE raid on the school involving smoke bombs. Two or three adults were allegedly detained but I don’t know anything else about the situation other than that.

By the way, I’m coming at this completely neutral at this time as I don’t currently see myself supporting any candidate at this time.

I really doubt that Sliwa is even close to entertaining MAGA calls to drop out so I wonder why the Daily News seems to be ignoring him.

Meanwhile, Trump supporters seem to be rallying around Adams, something I definitely could not have predicted 3-4 years ago.

I hear Trump supporters are labelling Sliwa as a “Trump hater” possibly because of his disagreement to drop the corruption charges against Adams, something Sliwa seems to be taking personally, after losing to Adams in 2021, and seems to be a big part of the Sliwa campaign.
