We took something which could have really f’d our plans and made it a PART of the story. Here was our film: youtu.be/gb7Nroagk-M

Rather than let this get in the way, we thought ‘let’s make this to our advantage’. We were the kind of case study we needed. We found someone else who was stranded. We featured part of our difficult journey in the VT. The key thing was, make lemonade out of lemons. 🍋

Anyway…we warned about how dangerous the roads were. It’s true. We came off the road and got a flat tyre and ended up staying in Ballater tonight. Stay safe out there!

Lots of tourists come to Braemar. They were well wrapped up! THOSE EAR MUFFS!!!

Now there’s a brilliant exhibition in Fife called Possible Paths which showcases lots of wonderful jobs that are out there - real role models for kids in the area I grew up. I was really honoured to be photographed for this. I hope it inspires others to dream big! ❤️ (3/3)

I was a kid from Fife with the accent to match, running around playgrounds pretending to be a TV reporter. 📺 Luckily, it all worked out and that dream became reality. I’m always keen to show others like me what can be done, especially kids from disadvantaged backgrounds. (2/3)
