My colleagues and I wondered why there has been a decline in female representation in governance in Nigeria and explain this in our paper which the University of Johannesburg Press recently published.

Women do not participate less, they participate differently in shadowy roles.

It was such a delight to say farewell to Prof. Lynette Shultz who had her last teaching class in my doctoral seminar. She said she kept the best for last. The feeling was mutual! N’est ce pas auvoir, C’est a bien tot!
