Before opening Book 2 of @andrewvanwey.bsky.social's series, I returned to Greywood Bay via Tom Jordan's vocal talents.

A top-notch iteration w/ chilling cadences and emotional gravitas for fans of Stranger Things & Lovecraft.

Whether reading or listening, prepare for the light of the dead star.

"Fine Dying"- a serial whodunnit I wrote for Kindle Vella, but never finished, so I ask;

"is this a story you want to see finished?"

I love whodunnits, but it's not my typical genre...

Read the 1st 10 chapters free and let me know if it should survive! www.patreon.com/collection/1...

Unfortunately, I must withdraw from the #PackInTheReaders Convention this weekend in Green Bay.

The reason? Kobe had an allergic reaction to something that got infected & formed a LARGE wound on his cheek.

The last few days we've made good progress toward a happy, healthy, floofy boy.

How's everyone else handling this one?

Upon finishing Todd Keisling's (sun)downer of a novel about, love, loss, and end of life care, Kobe and I have developed an extreme aversion to the worms in our garden...

Hopefully, y'all are doing better than us...

Nearing "The End" of this likely to be a novella about a cursed location that y'all don't get to know about just yet.

But it's giving "Ready Player One" meets "N0S4A2" in this undisclosed location.

Where do you think the story is set?

Treated myself to a cult classic... I know nothing except to beware the spiral... Who has read Junji Ito's Uzumaki? What'd ya think???

Todd Keisling's "The Sundowner's Dance" is gonna be up there for my favorite read of the year. But it might run away with my favorite hardcover release... LOOK AT THAT COVER!

What books have you fallen for this spring?

I know I'm 27 years late to the party, but 5YO me had some weird complex about the main character not being Zelda.

Anywho, here I am, finally playing my first LOZ game. Kinda wishing I had a Game Shark Guides from the 90s... 😅

An original take on the "who's really crazy" trope. Without spoiling things, i will say that "Part One" was my favorite portion of the story, and I plowed through the supernatural chaos plaguing the story's main character, Richard.

There's no feeling quite like the fear of turning to the next page because the safety of your favorite character is in jeopardy and they've almost died four times already....

Dark Horse Comics did a fantastic job compiling and refurbishing these classic pulp-horror comics. The artwork ranges from decent to top-notch and the story telling progresses throughout each volume as the VoH gathers its legs beneath it.

Bloody brilliant grief horror. All the hallmarks of the classic 'family confronts their sinister and possibly cursed past' after an estranged family member dies.

This story hooks quickly and should be exactly what people in the genre demand from that title.

One of the things I've been working on while I was away from Social Media was a new website!

III'MMM BAAAAACCKKKK!!! Miss me? Did you notice I was away?

Well, I was. Life got...exhausting. And let's be honest. I HATE Social Media. It has its place & benefits... But, F*CK. My feeds have been dramatic. So, I'll keep updates coming, but I like living in reality, not this augmented hellscape.

This past Wednesday was jam-packed awesomeness! Did my first podcast interview for "TRIP" w/ the guys from the "Good Enough" Podcast, and then had an amazing time continuing that conversation, signing books, and discussing the craft of writing with U of IL students at The Literary Book Bar! #booksky
