This was what I feared because I actually respect Marty Makary, new FDA head, & I wondered how he’d be able to play nice with RFK Jr. Makary isn’t perfect but he is qualified and has had a good impact on Trump (www.whitehouse.gov/presidential...). I’d hoped he’d be able to impact the HHS positively.

I noticed that applications to the Epidemic Intelligence Service have been “postponed” at the CDC. Y’know, the organization that discovered that eggs can cause salmonella and interceded in the Cutter incident (see: Inside the Outbreaks by Mark Pendergrast) www.cdc.gov/eis/php/part...

From Florida and deeply grieved by all of this, but I live abroad and will not be moving back there, either. :(
