That this piece has been the most viewed on the whole Guardian site suggests many people are shocked at Labour’s plans when they know the suffering they will cause. Most coldness and cruelty disintegrates once the public knows the facts and not the Daily Mail version.

For some reason medicine seems to have conveniently forgotten why GET is no longer recommended.

It was tried for decades and it didn’t work. Many people became much worse, permanently.

This isn’t some benign treatment it’s genuinely dangerous for pwME/LC
