One of the best things about my 1st bar job (Bar Mattachine, DTLA gay craft cocktail bar, RIP) was that our owner encouraged us to use our other passions to help make it great. I came in with no bar experience, but film experience. So I’d make trippy video reels to project. Here’s a slice of one:
