Working on some character art for my fantasy series in between commissions and these Hallenar boys are DOING ME IN. Lazarus is about to put every single one of his brothers in a time out. I'm laughing, but I feel his expression so deeply in my bones that it hurts lol.

I spend most my week doing commissions these days, which is AMAZING and I am so grateful for the wonderful work I've been asked to do. But on my days off, I jump in and do some art of my own characters. I'm proud to have reached a point where I can do this in the course of a night!

I swear I do more than sonic stuff LOL. Here's a quick lighting study I did last night in about 45 minutes?? I picked a concept I had already loosely mapped out and just went as fast as I could. Getting better at learning shading on different layers!
