The cherished, century-old Ukrainian song that Americans know as “Carol of the Bells” was written for layers of voices to fill churches, concert halls and city squares. But in wartime, Ukrainians have learned to improvise.
‘Carol of the Bells’ was born in a Ukrainian city destroyed by Russia
The music school dedicated to the song’s Ukrainian composer, Mykola Leontovych, was destroyed in Pokrovsk but has been reborn in exile.

The Phelans ran the only bookstore in Vermillion, South Dakota.

But after the state passed a measure preventing transgender young people like their daughter from using girls’ bathrooms, they sold it and moved away.
A family opened a town’s first bookstore. A bathroom bill is driving them away.
The Phelans ran the only bookstore in Vermillion, South Dakota. They sold it and moved after a new law would’ve required their daughter to use a boy’s bathroom.

It’s a points rubric.

8 points out of 40 is the threshhold.

Allegedly-gang tattoos get you 4 points.

Another law enforcement agency saying you’re in the gang (based on what, who knows) gets you 4 points.

That makes 8 points.
NEW: @aclu.org obtained ICE's "Alien Enemies Act Validation Guide," confirming all it takes to be sent to rot in prison in El Salvador is being Venezuelan and 1) having a tattoo an ICE officer says is a "gang tattoo" and 2) displaying "logos," "symbols" or clothes an ICE officer says are gang signs.

If an Army private accidentally texted the details of a classified military operation to a reporter, let alone transmitted any classified information to anyone who was unauthorized over an unsecured device, they’d be charged and likely spend time in Leavenworth.

But it’s Hegseth, so probably not.

Cool cool.

This is the same SpaceX that Musk/Trump say are going to run the FAA now, yes?
FAA halts flights at Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach, and Orlando airports for "space launch debris" after SpaceX test flight 8 explodes, like test flight 7 did. Debris falling broadly across the Caribbean and Bahamas areas. FAA will certainly need to do mishap investigation again.

The previous Starship also exploded, in January

THIS is why FAA probed SpaceX for safety

And THIS is why Musk has been trying to kill FAA - and why he should NOT get any more govt contracts
