I'm curious, is there a way to offload the calculations to the GPU, or do an initial calculation then only allow for recalculation when you want to, ie when you're ready to work on them.

Question on a specific use of AI -

Say you have a voice actor, you pay them for all their lines. You know some gamers have a GPU capable of basic ML. You use AI to train the VA's info on the user's name. Basically you're using it for 1 word, and still paying the VA the full amount. Thoughts?

Dude even before this whole debacle I was trying to de-Google. It's nearly impossible. People don't understand how embedded in our lives they are.

Part of the ATX 3.0 specification is allowed power excursions beyond the rated wattage. For the PCIe connector, that's up to 1200W for 100 microseconds. So that 1100W is within spec.

PC gamer here. Yes 🙃

I'd spend less money on a drug addiction than PC stuff these days.

If your PC is from 2020, it should support Win 11. Solves the update problem, but the new problem is you now have Win 11.

Allocation SUCKS for us. We're a Tier 2 SI and it basically comes down to "when we get it, it's okay" Hoping AMD's stuff is also good.

Theoretically

BIOS update then 5700X3D all the way. The 2 processora that are better? 7800X3D and 9800X3D, which are just barely better at 1080p and almost no difference at 1440p. Put the platform upgrade towards a new monitor.

Possibility of adding free response to the next survey? I wish to suggest that flea is FIR for barter items and ammo, while other equipment is not. Also, FIR for hideout works with Flea open from the start, but not necessarily when it's closed. It's nice if I can gamma something I need for hideout.

Regular Google assistant is better than Gemini. I have a Pixel 9 Pro with free Gemini, and I'm just using the same old Google assistant.

Somewhere in settings you can change the default save location for files. It defaults to OneDrive, but if you find C->users->you->documents, etc, you can replace OneDrive, copy stuff already on it to local storage, then not have to worry.

This seems like data for an assistant or full professor. Adjunct is the super part time, right? Like it's akin to picking up a job at a coffee shop or bookstore because you like it.

Hopefully under warranty still, but at least new hardware is about to launch, meaning you might be able to get a deal on older gear, or get more for your money.

Then you proceed to get them within 1 hit, get stunlocked on the other side of the arena from their attack, die, and then repeat the fight for the next 4 hours.

It's now coming down to specific software, rather than just categories. Premier likes the newest Intel stuff. Resolve likes nvidia cards with either CPU. Photoshop likes Ryzen 9000. Blender is GPU accelerated.

Based on what you've listed, I'd do a 9800X3D (when it's in stock) and RTX 4070/Super.

And if they let you, Ryzen usually has better battery life than both, with better performance.

Though Intel Virtualization tech is usually a hard requirement for some businesses, and you can't avoid it.
