A rare sighting in a neighbor's yard: Nighthawk resting with prey. If it's not a Nighthawk maybe some kind Samaritan can correct me. I tossed a small pebble at it to get it to take flight. There are too many humans about with ill intentions.

Oh No! More of Musk's brilliant, exploding robots! Let the Games begin! All hail Musk's raining space debris!

Just so we're clear: New York is the most diverse city in the U.S. How the fuck is that a weakness? If Cuomo didn't have his warped logic and racist Islamaphobic MAGA bait to smear everywhere, he'd have nothing. What a loser.

If today's youth don't take their country back, they won't have a country to ever take back. And if you think youth are fragile, let me introduce you to 14-year old artificer, James Colvin, who helped load cannon at Ft. Pitt (now known as the city of Pittsburg) during the Revolution.

I lost mine last month at 16. We'd been together 14 years. His first two years were in a no-kill shelter and had gone through 6 adoption rejects. I still miss him terribly. Just be there for her. At a certain stage, they just want to know they're safe and loved. Peace.

Ashes to ashes....dust to dust.

Yes, yes she would....

There only one proper reply:

I held him as he passed. After 14 years together, he died as he lived, honorably and with dignity. I was his first and only forever home after being raised from kittenhood and enduring 6 rejections at the no-kill shelter. And now I'm heartbroken.

Some cats get a bed; Chester gets a sofa. 14 years of hard work battling strays, rats, and any intruder who dared come to his territory to menace his family, means he's earned a place to stretch out now. He always looks so peaceful when he's dozing.

This is when their products were built to last. Since being sold to a Chinese company in 2016 the paint starts peeling off their large kitchen appliances inside two years.

Leather shoes everywhere curse you. You insult leather. Ug.

Not to worry, Trump will never get one, either or any military honor for that matter. They don't give medals to draft dodgers. Still, maybe he can give himself a shiny tin award, like a well-burnished cat food can with his name on it. That should impress his regime Orcs.

Next UP: Texas AG Ken Paxton encourages schools to provide students with torches and pitchforks to deal with witches posing as teachers on the nation's campuses.

In another era, there was a different solution to corrupt government that was cruel and vindictive to citizens:

You need to spend some time examining period images and drawings of freedom fighters during resistance movements. They always look pretty ragged and bleak. Especially when they're cooking leather or tree bark to stay alive to fight another day.

Every year, Chester's muzzle gets whiter and whiter. Now he's starting to look positively distinguished.

I think you mean steam engine cars, with wood-burning back-up engines. We don't need no stinkin' clean air.

"Yes, yes! Build the fence of black cast iron and it will get super hot, then fry chicken on it. The illegals will just eat the chicken, then fall asleep and be too tired to climb. Brilliant!" -- Snidely W.

Yes, yes there are.

Yes. I call him Cat Nanny. He literally does not stop until I get in bed and he makes biscuits to tuck me in, then runs off to booze it up with his buddies. Or do catnip hookahs. Who knows? But when he thinks I'm asleep, off he runs. He's 16, retired, and still working. Bwhahaha.

Hitler tried to blame the Reichstag fire on sabatures, but he used the event to suspend the German Constitution and all civil rights -- including the free press and speech, then declared himself Fuhrer.

What do you plan to use all those climbing objects for when he's too old to climb? Mine is now 16; he stopped scaling things like fences and towers a few years so. He's been a good working cat and friend; he's earned his retirement.

Someone was a very good boy for his glamor shot this year. He's 16 now. We've been together 14 years and I was his first forever home after 6 rejections and 2 years in a no-kill shelter. He loves freeze dried minnows and naps in a sunny window -- in no particular order.
