From the interviews I’ve seen, he comes off as emotionally intelligent, though I haven’t followed the race closely. In one case, a woman confronted him about his past behavior & he took it quite well i believe. he followed up with her & she seemed satisfied and gave a positive statement about it.

Being easily swayed is also my concern. Still, this feels like a different era, there’s growing pressure from ordinary people against US foreign policy. even if that push is conservative, leftists need to be ready to redirect it toward anti-capitalist politics.

If he turns out to be a Nazi and votes like Fetterman, it’ll be easier for leftists to challenge him next cycle. Even so, his win would further weaken Blue Dog influence. I don’t want the candidate Dems are pouring money into because it furthers their interests.

oh well my take is simple: if there’s a stronger candidate than Graham, we should back them. But I know Dems like Schumer oppose him, which gives me some hope he’s genuine. Still, judging actual congressional action, results vary wildly—from AOC to Sinema.

that’s not true. Parts of my family come from a younger, working-class military background. In my experience, that culture often mirrors graham’s—confident and immature, treating service like a CoD game. but leaving that and choosing self-education, and a supportive community can change that.

this sounds speculative, because rn we have a loud public condemning this act. if a dem administration did something similar they would most likely end up like the biden and kamala administration.

yup, a lot of democrats are not talking about it including my own reps in this very blue state, unfortunately. still we must put the pressure on them so if anyone here is living in the US make some calls. doesn’t matter if they are red or blue, let ‘em know we don’t stand for this.
