Fair! My cats when they do what I described are gentle. But I also trim back blackberries for part of my job.
My glad your kitty has learned when claws are unappreciated. Mine haven't, one likes to grab my face with claws. When she wants more pets.

My version of cerberus with a mastiff head on the right, a Rottweiler head in the middle, and a German Shepard head on the right. Cerberus is facing foward. As of last night Spazz is back home. After getting attacked by two of my dogs early Thursday. Beyond glad he his home, recovery will be a long road. (This is an old photo)
