Related, this is why I almost never do fiction audiobooks. You can't just skim over the dialog tags like you can in written text, and if they get too repetitive, it starts to annoy me.

Every time! It's so frustrating never knowing how traffic will be going through Seattle, Tacoma, JBLM, and Olympia. The delays can really add up.

Yeah, I feel like you'll never get boys in the door of the library/bookshop if there's no books for and about them. If they feel welcome and included, then hopefully they'll read about non-boys.
Also I don't think it's good for anyone to only see people like them portrayed as a love interest.

This really feels like vicious self fulfilling prophecy cycle... no one publishes books for teen boys, so teen boys don't read, so no one publishes books for teen boys...
