Someone said they wanted to see more faces behind the books on book accounts. I assume that went for authors, too. So as Taylor Swift once said, This Is Me Trying.

Finally hung my vintage Chicago poster that I bought as a keepsake from the launch of my debut novel (which takes place in Chicago).

When the book isn’t “touch him & die,” but “touch him & I die inside.”

Because they are both too young and ill-equipped against the horrors life has dealt them.

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always felt like hotel rooms were one of those strange liminal spaces that take you out of the real world for a bit.

So naturally, I wrote a book about escaping into a series of them.

Just finished Don’t Let the Forest In, and wanted to share some underrated queer YA books that have similar vibes (unreliable narrators dealing with trauma by blurring the lines between fiction and reality).

- Howl by SDH
- We are the Ants by SDH
- The Art of Starving by Sam J. Miller

Spent the day sick in bed, but at least I had a good book.

Picked this up on a whim because I guess I’m in my gay romantasy era (is that what this would be considered?)

A delightful read. Hurt and comfort in equal supply & an engaging plot.

(Sad I missed out on the RC edition, look how pretty)
