Rare footage of the opening of Stadion De Meer, Ajax's iconic home for 62 years. Opened on December 9, 1934, it became a cornerstone of Amsterdam’s football culture before Ajax relocated to the Johan Cruyff Arena in 1996.

On March 18, 1900, Floris Stempel, Carel Reeser, and Han Dade founded Ajax in the Concertzaal Oost-Indië, Amsterdam. This marked the second attempt after a short-lived effort as Football Club Ajax in 1894. A legendary journey was born. ⚽🏟️ #Ajax #History
