I love starting the group with genuinely odd trinkets which, if they work them into their background, I’ll start them with inspiration. Then, when they find weird ways to add them to the story, they may get inspiration again.

Have been meaning to try Brindlewood Bay. I have some assets on Alchemy RPG to use. It does sound delightful.
