Yes! His female characters are generally sex objects or stereotypes. Nicole Kidman in Lioness is an exception. But someone of her chops would most likely refuse to play a bad role.

He does weave in his plots favorite conservative tropes--problems with wind farms (Landman) and suggesting most immigrants coming illegally are terrorists or human traffickers (Lioness)

My Mom never criticized me directly as an adult. I knew If I had screwed up if she did not fervently defend me, which was most of the time whether I deserved it or not. Silence from her was a sign I really messed up.

Yeah, I will watch even though it really is the Biggest Loser Bowl. But maybe we will learn about newer players getting better?

Yeah, think that is right. But I was sold on being able to transport YouTube TV between households, so you don't need to double up that service with two cable subscriptions.

The NBC election website says 3400 votes remaining. How do you get 5-6k? And how do you know today's votes were conditional registrations? Just curious unless it is a trade secret?

Josh was very good, invaluable, in early 2005 in a very similar situation when Bush said he had won "political capital" in the election and wanted to cut Social Security. Josh was very good in steadily pushing members of Congress to take a position. He was the MVP imo in stopping Bush.

Wow. Cormac McCarthy and a 16 year old. Very interesting given the long-standing literary criticism that McCarthy had no female characters of note that were not just cut outs. He admitted later he just could not write women characters.
