Actually it looks like there was a 2% decline in PT, but a decline from 27.7% active modes to 6%, which causes me to raise an eyebrow

And their most recent Irish data is 2011, and there is reliable data from 2023, so not sure what that isn't used

I had downloaded there data, and there is some, er, weird stuff going on. That is their data for Sydney 2011, but I think Sydney 2016 on the other plot (no explanation), and it doesn't seem credible to me that there would be that much mode change in 5 years github.com/rafaelprieto...

I'm not 100% sure, but I think those grey circles over with the US are the major cities of Australia and New Zealand, so know that you are not alone...

I've mathsed this out. My bit of lawn is approx 8m x 8m, so to put 75mm of top soil on that would be 8-10 domestic (single-axle) trailers. Now do that for the whole of the UK
