Naaz-Rokha was fun, assembling a stacked legendary planet exploring it over and over.
With the GE the game was over Round 4, with Yin (purple) sneaking to an 8 point turn.

Played against 6 different armies and 6 great new opponents, which was really fun
This list can definitely work, but has its weaknesses especially on some battleplans
I didn't score Wrathful2 once, that one was definitely a bad choice.
I want to build up a second army soon..

Nearly identical lists for a fun and interesting mirror. From the Start I was convinced, I would win if I can prevent Scouting1, which turned out correct.
They gave me first turn leaving both my big pigs able to charge 10 Brutes T1, but they completely whiffed.

Played against a similar List in Belakor with blocks of Chosen and Warriors. Biggest roll was for deployment.
In the end a nicely placed bridge (-2 to cast) was able to nullify my go-turn into the Chosen, leaving Brutes out of combat and preventing the Mawkrushas charge.

My second hard Battleplan against a very skilled player on Sylvaneth Monsters. Tried to make a move turn 1 and absolutely flunked. Focused on scoring primary from there to reduce the point gap.

My best battleplan against Raptadon Spam. Really felt the controlly stature of my list kick in. In the end I could tag most of their units, preventing movement and especially charges. In the end I ground them down only losing ~500 points of my army.

One of my bad battleplans against a Cryptguard+Ushoran castle with a lot of mobility outside of it.
Had to go for it Turn 3 to not get outscored. A few too many strike-first/last rolls went right and I could not break through, that and losing the rolloff sealed the game

A less threatening Skaven list than most, using mostly big infantry blocks without the big debuff pieces, that deservedly won Best Painted in the end.
I really like the battleplan and was able to whittle down his army with a pincer maneuver of my monsters.

It's definitely the best comunity event of the year here in germany
Just a bit disappointed that two of our clubs armies that imo deserved a nomination for best painted didn't get the chance.

In total I went 3-3, placing #78/200 (5th best in that bracket), bouncing back from last years 2-4 and getting back to the record of the first two years.

I'm really stoked for the tournament, but would have liked to have gotten a bit more practice in.

This somehow makes 3 years of Rumbles in a row painting the same kit for the tournament 😅

Doubled into T2 tagging the cannons, but lost due to a bit of sloppy play and the recursion outscoring in the end

On the gaming side I got 14 games (3x3 at tournaments) in with 6 wins and 8 losses. Looking forward to the 200 Player 6 game Racoon Rumble next month!
Also a nice game of Twilight Imperium that went poorly for me.

Dropped yesterday after 62 days of (mostly) uninterrupted hobbying. Just have a lot on my plate right now and no real need to paint anything new currently
I painted 2 big models for my army with the tuskboss and tower alongside a table of terrain pieces for the club.

Continuing on my Raccoon Rumble Battleplan prep. Trying to pin down general deployment guidelines and early game tactics for the list + BTs I am currently considering.

Dug out some Wrekka Masks, primed and drybrushed them to get started. With those and a bit of bluetac I'll be able to play my 9 Ragers as Wrekkaz as well.
Also had to fix one of my first models, as its plume and weapon both broke off friday.

Started to get into specific decisions for the Raccoon Rumble next month. Beginning with basic battleplan strategy and their impact on flex slots.

Played a game against one of my favourite opponents. He played SBGL for the first time, training for the Raccoon
Win for me, with a big error losing Vordrai Turn 2, and a great power through + mighty destroyer with a Goregrunta tagging the blood knights after

A bit of a hobby slump, started a bit on the bust but not feeling it. Instead I dug out some Endless Spells and continued working on the Quicksilver Swords, getting the metal down.

Looked for a new project and found a unit of Goregruntas I bought built a while ago.
Got them off their bases, cleaned up some mold lines, cut off greeblies and dug into the Bitz Box to find a few more interesting weapons for them.

One last pass checking and fixing a few errors. Then varnished the terrain, so I can bring it to the Club for a first game on Thursday.
This was a really fun and different project, and I’m happy I could help our club move closer to running tournaments again.

A lot of thikk Ogors. Went in Top of 2, getting quite a few of the Ogors down, but not destroying enough to limit them and get out of combat. And leaving enough for big countercharges
The Ogor Gorgers scored the ~20pts difference just by deepstriking onto my objective

Ionus, Reclusians, Prosecutors, Vigilors (no screens). I gave him first turn, in which he pushed Ionus forward and gave me range to bind the Vigilors in combat.
Could pretty easily go in and deal with most of the units not in deapstrike T1, consolidated by a double 1-2.
