This was very good, thanks. I am still frustrated at there being no explanation for all this, though. With recent community changes it feels like FDev are keeping us at arms length again....

I wasn't happy about it being *permanently* behind ARX (and glad that's now changed!), but there's a civilised way to express these things that people probably ought to practise more

I haven't got everything Early Access, but have tried to do so in a budget-responsible way for similar reasons. Although I've only ever got one Stellar one and it annoyed me that once I swapped stuff out it was gone forever, so no more of that

I was very uncomfortable with this as well. It was absolutely going to be permanent and I'm delighted they have listened and changed it to early access

Yeah, I've done three tier 3 builds now, and I absolutely wasn't going to buy this on principle. Now I'm not so sure....

Ah yes. I've got 2 of those on board, and kept 2 in my PC2.
That and not being able to give up my size 3 Prospector or size 4 refinery would cover the rest of it 😜
And yes, abandoning those limpets is painful!

That's exactly it, yep. I love the base building and planetary activities in NMS, but Elite Dangerous is a space flight sim first, and the other stuff follows after

It is a bit of a steep learning curve, and there's stuff they just don't tell you so you have to figure it out for yourself. For me, though, the flight model is so much better than NMS (speaking as a NMS fan here)
