There are some excellent older epic fantasy stories as well, the Menolly pern books, Edding's Belgariad, Lackey's Arrows of the Queen books. Potter is as dead to me as anything by Orson Scott Card

If I remember correctly, she was in his last administration. She left to work on his reelection campaign.
