But when Jee laughs at him trying to get his tongue to touch his nose, and Mara loops one of her arms through his to keep him from tossing the rest of his cup in the garbage, Eddie feels solid again. Maybe he likes yellow birthday cake ice cream after all. (or, gerrard messes with the team's schedules and eddie 'i just drove my son to flee the state' diaz is the only option to watch mara and jee-yun after school on tuesdays, which, shouldn't be a problem at all, right?)

@LAFD_Overheard By: fayevian The team discover an Instagram account based on what the public has overheard from their calls. Hen and Chim become amateur detectives in their quest to uncover the the context of every quote, but this becomes difficult when it's increasingly clear they've been left in the dark about something. Based on the account @Overheard_LA and me deciding with all the insane things that the 118 say on calls, someone should be recording them for posterity. EDIT: This fic is now a MULTI_MEDIA FIC!!! I recommend if you've already read to just scroll through and look at the masterpiece fake Instagram screenshots. It is screen reader accessible.

He’s unsuccessful once again. “Christopher, come on we have to talk about this.” “Go away,” is the muffled response from behind the door and this was not the answer Eddie wanted to hear as he closed his eyes with his head leaned into his arm rested on the door while whispering come on, come on to himself. The doorbell rang so Eddie forced himself off of Chris's door to open it for Buck and he was so grateful for his best friend for coming by so quickly after he called to help with this disastrous situation. “Thanks for coming.” Or Chris goes to live with Buck after Eddie gets caught with Kim and Eddie deals with the aftermath of his mistakes.

He looks up and tries to get the bartender’s attention when he’s near, gesturing to get him to come towards him. “Hey, Brandon?” Brandon takes a step to the right and closer to Buck. “Did I hear that right? You guys are looking for someone to fill in on Thursday for entertainment?” “Yeah, our usual guy cancelled. Apparently he can’t do his Thursdays anymore. Shame, too. He really brought in the crowds. Why? D’you know anyone?” Buck nods and opens Spotify to show Brandon. "Oli? Shit, yeah. I have 5 of his songs. You know him, Buckley?" "I'm Oli." - OR: in the midst of going back to work after the firetruck, the embolism, the tsunami, and the lawsuit, Buck feels more alone than ever. No one is talking to him, no one wants him to be there. On a whim, he takes up singing again and feels more like himself with every passing performance. His friends don't know, and he doesn't tell them.
