you are correct, it is just another means of self expression! however im still on the stance that putting labels on explicit shit will just benefit navigation… i don’t think it’s as deep as confronting inner stigma within our society as it is just making sure minors dont get exposed to porn, is all

also, considering they mentioned the use of labels specifically, and they are an artist, as well as what the majority of the tags are speaking about, i imagine theyre just talking about images, as opposed to sexual expression in general. bluesky does provide explanations for each label you can use

i do block tags! some i do not, just because i personally do not want to be associated with in any aspect, and the way bluesky handles their tag blocking doesnt allow me to do such in the way i need, so unfortunately i have to do it manually.

not everyone has to engage with sex at all, that’s completely fine. same goes for romance. also i don’t think a label over my porn drawings posts as porn will change those who actually stigmatize sex and those who participate in sexual topics, whether i have said label or not

while i agree when it comes to sexual expression in general, im still on the stance that we should label what has been well defined on this site as what is nsfw/sexually explicit content. im not going to expose a potential child or sex-repulsed person to that kind of thing just to force “exposure”

and that's great! we should encourage that. however, tagging posts with having explicit content so we aren't exposing people who don't need it doesn't necessarily mean we're reinforcing social stigma surrounding sexual expression.

other people can put tags onto their reblogs there, to which said post is considered apart of whatever tag as though the og artist labelled it as such.
it helps me a lot with tags ive blocked, where the post and/or blog is censored and gives me a warning that said post/blog has such content

im not saying sex shouldn’t exist in art whatsoever, as you’re making it out to be. i think people should definitely be comfortable with the topic. however i would prefer not to expose my art onto say, a minor, or maybe an asexual person who doesn’t want to see it. they don’t need to see it.

it isn't stigma if it's just keeping other users safe. we aren't any less for simply tagging nsfw shit as nsfw. also, makes it easier for all of us to navigate who DO want to engage in nsfw!

thats completely fine !!! personally i will buy it as i have been using krita for Years and i did a trial of csp and i prefer it over the other art programs ive used. but krita still offers a TON of features while also being free and super accessible!

while i would think fanta would be tails.. maybe sprite instead and grape fanta for knuckles yk yk? otherwise dr pepper is pretty knuckles to me (not sure why)
