LLMs, being mediocrity machines, might slow down societal evolution and preserve the current status quo, because if everyone thinking the same (LLM doing it for them), then nothing will ever change.

"AIs" will become intelligent only when they will be able to experience the world on its own. Right now they are only machines with statistical knowledge and the only experience available to them is limited context provided by someone outside.

LLMs give humanity a great opportunity to slow things down instead of speeding them up, quitting rat race and finally relax.
While machines do all the boring memorization we can do something actually good (or at least start thinking about it).
